Waiter

Waiter is the handheld app for runners and floor staff. PIN unlock, pick a table (scan or number), optional member, build an order from the same catalog, then Hold for the bar or take Cash / Card / Balance when the register is open.

In depth

Same database as the bar

Waiter does not keep a separate menu. Products, prices, happy hour and stock come from Manager → Catalog. When the bar has closed the cash day, waiter sales stop until the register opens again.

Bar awareness

Hold and table updates surface on POS Table service (blink + badge) so the bar sees floor activity without shouting across the room.
